Why is Google still so popular? Google is and will be number one for quite sometime to come. If you are an interent marketer, trying to figure out Google, stop for a minute and ask yourself what makes Google so unique. And why do you us Google when you do so.
Have you ever searched msn or Yahoo! for a term such as ¨cigarettes¨?
If not, you should and then tell me what you think about the results.
How many sites do you need w/the exact same brands of cigarettes offered for the same prices.
Then there is those sweet redirects making sure that the landing pages for ome results are not just similar, but rather identical in content.
But Yahoo! is improving here and there. I just sometimes feel as if Yahoo! is really not getting it, but maybe that´s just me.
I am searching big G now for cigs. Only a couple of sites are offering smokes. Now, those also have other content.
If you run a search engine, do you really need to worry about getting sites that sell stuff thru them?
NO
You will get that one way or another. You need to focus on getting variety and on those varieties of pages, there will be advertisement making sure you order cancer sticks.
Unique content is key.
Not saying that quality is guaranteed, but variety guarantees quality on the broader scale looking at ALL of the results.
You WILL find something that appeals to you.
